One of the much-discussed Motorola phones that will hit the market in the third quarter of the year is the Motorola Edge 2022. We know much about the upcoming phone. And its appearance on the benchmarking platform GeekBench is just additional information concerning its performance.

As we can see, the forthcoming Motorola Edge 2022 will sport the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 chip. The latter has been officially announced just recently. This is a mid-range SoC that uses 6nm technology from TSMC and has eight processing cores. Among them, two are high-performance Cortex-A78 cores at 2.5GHz, and six are Cortex-A55 cores. The SoC also integrates the Mali-G610 MC3 video accelerator.
Apart from the mentioned processor, the Motorola Edge 2022 will also come with a 6.5-inch POLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The handset will feature 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB ROM, 5000mAh battery, and an Android 12 system out of the box.

Prior to this, we heard that the Motorola Edge 2022 will sport a rear 50MP main camera (OIS), a 13MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the opposite side, our protagonist will carry a 32MP lens for selfies and video calls.

Motorola Edge 2022 Renders
Recently, @Onleaks (Steve Hemmerstoffer) published the renders of the Moto Edge 2022 (codenamed Dubai+). From them, we can see that the Motorola Moto Edge 2022 adopts a slightly curved design. It should provide a good grip. There is also the Motorola logo in the middle of the back and the Motorola brand name at the bottom. Here, we can find an oval-shaped rear lens matrix module, while the LED flash is located in the upper right corner.
We can also see the USB Type-C interface at the bottom. The power button and volume button are located on the right side. The front uses a punch-hole screen design. The notch will host the selfie camera, as you guess. The overall dimensions are about 160.8 x 74.2 x 8.2 mm (including the rear camera bump of 10.1 mm).
