Today, at the Huawei Sports Health Innovation Technology Communication Conference, Zhang Wei, CEO of Huawei Sports Health Corps and President of Huawei’s Terminal Business Smart Wear and Sports Health Product Line, said that by the end of 2021, Huawei’s cumulative global shipment of wear devices exceeds 100 million. He further reveals that the company’s global cumulative user volume now exceeds 350 million.
At the moment, the Chinese manufacturing giant cooperates with over 80 global research institutions. According to Canalys data, global shipments of wearable wristband devices will reach 193 million units in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%. Among them, due to the influence of foreign policies and the separation of Honor, Huawei’s market share fell by nearly 7%, and its shipments fell by 40% year on year. Nevertheless, the company still ranks third with a shipment of 19 million units. In the mainland Chinese market, Huawei ranks first with a market share of 30%.
