iOS 16 can delete pre-installed apps: the interface feels comfortable

The newly released iOS 16 does not seem to have a strong sense of innovation for many users, and some users say that the mobile phone will become stuck after the update. Only the lock screen interface and Apple Pay can give people a more amazing feeling. Even at that, the lock screen saver has been accused of copying Xiaomi MIUI 12. Thankfully for Apple, many of its users are not paying attention to the copy. While there were doubts about the iOS 16 experience, it seems to be actually better than we envisage.

However, using this system, there is confirmation that iOS 16 further expand the number of pre-installed apps that can be deleted. Furthermore, the system adds three new apps: “Find”, “Health” and “Clock”.

Gizchina News of the week

Apple has allowed the removal of preinstalled apps for the first time since iOS 10 in 2016. Initially the number was small, but it continued to increase. Before the launch of iOS 16, there were already 27 pre-installed apps that could be deleted. Today’s iOS 16 has deepened this permission even more.

Taking the clock as an example, the alarm clock of Apple’s own clock is not user-friendly enough, which makes many users hate it. This time, it can be completely cleaned up to make many people feel much more comfortable. As Apple says, some first-party apps may be associated with certain system-level features or with the Apple Watch, and removing them may limit the implementation of native features. In addition, even if you delete the “Find” app, the ability to find your phone will not be affected.

Editor’s comment:

Although users can delete more apps, we strongly recommend that you keep the search and clock functions. The former can help you find your phone, and the latter can check the time. These two functions do not take up much memory, and the iOS running rules will not consume more power. Thus, the advantages of these apps outweigh the disadvantages.
