After the ban on Huawei by the United States, the company has been struggling to meet up in the smartphone market. In fact, Huawei accepted its fate stating that it is no longer competing in the smartphone market. According to the Chinese manufacturing giant, it is only trying to survive in the smartphone market. However, Huawei is much more than smartphones thus the company is still thriving in other areas. Since the ban, Huawei has been releasing a few smartphones but they do not support the 5G network. Nevertheless, in a recent twist of events, Huawei listed three of its smartphones with 5G support. Recently, Huawei Mall lists the Mate 40E Pro, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+ with support for 5G network.
Huawei did not mention how it eventually included 5G support on these smartphones. We also do not know if the company will use the 5G case that already supports Huawei’s recent smartphones. Nevertheless, it is interesting to see that Huawei is gradually coming back into the 5G market. The company is confident that in the next few years, it will completely overcome the 5G barrier. As for how Huawei will make this happen, the company is not revealing much information. Since the series of bans by the U.S., Huawei has been very stingy with information regarding its smartphones.

Still do not support GMS
Before you fall in love with any of these Huawei devices, please note that support for the 5G network does not mean that it now supports Google Mobile Services. This means that you can not have access to Google Play Store. No Gmail, Google Map, YouTube, nothing. Thus, if you are living outside China, you may want to think about this before you consider this device. Although Huawei has HMS, which is supposed to be an alternative for GMS, it is not quite at GMS’s level and is still lacking some relevant apps. However, if GMS is not a problem, this smartphone has some interesting specs
