OnePlus 10T to come on July with a $599 price tag

OnePlus 10T

OnePlus has been on a roll this year. After starting the year with an unprecedented flagship release, the company moved on with the release of several mid-range smartphones under the Ace and Nord series. Now, the company is preparing the terrain for a new release in the flagship territory. The vanilla OnePlus 10 is just a legend at this point, but nothing will prevent the company from launching a T-series phone dubbed OnePlus 10T. As a result, we’ll have the 10 Pro and the OnePlus 10T as the company’s flagships for 2022. Despite previous leaks, the company isn’t launching an Ultra variant. Today, we have some new details on the OnePlus 10T.

OnePlus 10T release, specs, and pricing info

The OnePlus 10T carries the “Ovaltine” codename and will be released in the next month. To be more precise, a new leak suggests that the new flagship will hit the market on July 10 and will carry a price tag of around CNY 4000, which represents a “global price tag” of around $600. The OnePlus 10T will be the definitive flagship for the lineup, but the camera department will be below the current OnePlus 10 Pro.

Gizchina News of the week

The OnePlus 10T will carry some design semblances with the Pro at the back, but the front is closer to the OnePlus 10R. The phone will bring a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with LTPO 2.0 technology. The device boasts a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also has a 360 Hz touch sampling rate and HDR 10+ support. Under the hood, the phone will carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This hardware upgrade brings significant improvements in performance and an even higher jump in efficiency. The phone will come with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage.

Judging by the leaked renders, the phone will have a centered punch-hole, unlike the Pro variant. It will house a 16 MP selfie snapper. Moving around to the back, we have a 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and 2 MP macro lens. Interestingly, the phone brings the Hasselblad logo which means the partnership also applies to this variant. The phone will also bring an interesting feature from the OnePlus 10R, the 150 W fast-charging. It will be paired with a 4,800 mAh battery which is the biggest capacity we’ve seen at such a charging speed. Obviously, the phone will run Android 12 with OxygenOS 12.

For now, the device’s release still needs confirmation. But considering that July is almost at the corner, we can expect this confirmation to come in the next few weeks. The phone is reportedly heading to India with a price tag below the OnePlus 10 Pro.
