Nothing Phone (1) To Sell In Reliance Digital Stores In India

As per the report, Nothing wants to make the Phone (1) available in India for offline purchase through Reliance Digital. However, it is still unclear if the handset will be available in offline markets anytime soon. Nothing is currently focused on having better control over its inventory. The company will have to make a large number of units for offline sales. Also, it will have to wait until the stock is cleared. This approach doesn’t align with Nothingā€™s strategy for early sales.

The first 100 units of the Phone (1) went up for auction earlier this month. Regrettably, the auction was live only for 48 hours. Further, Nothing has confirmed that it will sell the Phone (1) through an invite-only system. This will allow community members to get their hands on the Phone (1) first. Also, this strategy will allow Nothing to evaluate its demand. So, the company can manufacture units accordingly. The Phone (1) will be a made-in-India product. It will retail online via Flipkart, as per the official press release. More details are likely to surface online soon.
