Gizchina News of the week
As far as Motorola is concerned, the company will also introduce the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra which will not only bring the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC but will also be the world’s first smartphone with a 200 MP camera. We were expecting Xiaomi to also use this sensor, but, apparently, Xiaomi’s 200 MP smartphone will be released later. ASUS is preparing its ROG Phone 6 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and also a massive 6,000 mAh battery. Lenovo and Black Shark are also expected to bring Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered smartphones. However, details are still scarce.
On the Dimensity side of things, the Dimensity 9000 keeps being a “second option” in the flagship territory. Xiaomi will offer a tier of the Xiaomi 12S Pro with the Dimensity 9000. iQOO, on the other hand, will release a new flagship with the Dimensity 9000+ variant.
We expect more details to keep coming in the next weeks. Anyway, as you can see, July will be a hectic month for smartphone enthusiasts.
