ASUS and Black Shark will make their move in the gaming segment with the ROG Phone 6 and Black Shark 5S series. Recently, we discovered that Lenovo is also bringing a new Lenovo Legion Halo gaming smartphone. Today, the device was certified by TENAA certification which confirms its imminent arrival. The Chinese listing also confirms the phone is a flagship with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The Lenovo Legion Halo was certified on TENAA with model number L71091. The device flaunts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. There is also a centered punch-hole for the selfie snapper. The device’s back serves as a home for a triple camera setup. We know it has a 50 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultrawide shooter, the third sensor is unidentified. However, we expect just a depth or macro shooter. After all, photography isn’t the focus of this device. The listing further reveals the phone’s dimensions as 163.72 × 77.11 × 7.99mm. Furthermore, the total weight is around 205 grams.
Furthermore, the listing confirms the Lenovo Legion Halo has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. In fact, it passed by Geekbench recently showing its muscles. It comes in variants with 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB of RAM. For storage, there are 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB of Storage. We assume that the Lenovo Legion Halo will have more affordable options than the Lenovo Legion Y90. After all, the Y90 had a base variant with 12 GB of RAM. The battery has a 4,880 mAh rated capacity, unfortunately, there aren’t details on the charging specs.
The Lenovo Legion Halo will come in Grey and Silver colorways. The expected launch is between July and September, but for now, we’ll bet on July.
