The research company Strategy Analytics specifies that āApple solidified its leadership with an impressive performance during the 6.18 festival this yearā. An analyst from the company even reports that āApple outperformed the market, selling nearly 7 million iPhone unitsā.
Strategy Analytics estimates that Apple has generated a turnover of 6.3 billion dollars with this festival. Also noting that the American company “dominated all Chinese online stores participating in the shopping festival”; and that it ranked “first in terms of revenue share on all major online shopping platforms in the country”.
Behind Apple, Xiaomi ranks second and captured 30% of the market; a figure down slightly from the 32% the company achieved the previous year. Finally, Honor, which has just presented its brand new Honor 70, closes the podium with 10% of the market. A figure on the rise since the company had captured 6% of the market in 2021.
