Realme GT2 Master Explorer – another artistically-crafted smartphone

Realme GT2 Master Explorer

Back in the last year, Realme presented the Realme GT Master and Master Explorer Edition smartphones. These devices were not beyond the Realme GT 5G in terms of specifications but had better cameras and premium design. This year, the company is bringing a newer Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition, and apparently, it will be better than the GT2 Pro in specifications. After all, it will bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and will also charge faster with 100 W and 150 W charging versions. Now, the company has just confirmed the design, and once again, it partners with a Japanese artist.

Gizchina News of the week

The Realme GT2 Master Explorer is confirmed to launch on July 12. As usual, Realme wants to build the hype for its upcoming release. Today, the company revealed the phone’s design with a “one-of-a-kind yet classic Travel Trunk design that reflects the urban outdoor lifestyle that young generations prefer”. The company is partnering with Jae-Jun, a fashion designer that previously worked with The North Face and Ralph Lauren. He is inheriting the canvas from Naoto Fukusawa who was behind the Master Explorer’s design.

The design of the camera, as expected, is reminiscent of the Realme GT Neo 3 series. It brings two smaller cameras in the bottom part, and a massive on at the top. There is a dual-LED flash in the center. The device has flat sides and is surrounded by what seems to be a frame that gives an old diary look to it. Honestly, we believe that this design is simpler when compared to the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition. Anyway, we assume it’s unique enough for lovers of fashion-styled smartphones.

Realme GT2 Master Explorer alleged specs

The Realme GT2 Explorer will bring a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 5000 mAh battery. The device will come in White, Green, and Brown colorways. It will have a triple-camera setup with a main 50 MP camera with OIS. Obviously, it will run Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0.
