God of War: Ragnarok – offers more
According to Eric Williams, God of War: Ragnarok will offer a more diverse combat system than before. This game is more tactical for players.
Director Eric Williams said in an interview:
In God of War: Ragnarok, what we wanted to do with Kratos, we wanted to give players more expressivity. To a large extent, this will come from Atreus, who has grown and become more skilled, providing a ton of extra combo moves on the battlefield. He’s grown a bit from the way they’ve worked together, so he’ll be doing more follow-ups for Kratos.
In addition, the director also states that the enemies in “God of War: Ragnarok” will also evolve and learn new abilities against the protagonist duo. In many cases, you need to decide your tactics and choose who strikes first – Kratos or Atreus.
