Apple, which announced the suspension of deliveries to Russia, continues to export its products to the country, Izvestia reports. Shipment volumes amount to thousands of devices every month; but these devices will not reach the shelves in stores – it is necessary to fulfill warranty obligations. Experts are sure that the company is not going to completely leave the Russian market, and therefore the support of electronics does not stop.
Several sources close to the company’s partners in the country told Izvestia about the continued supply of Apple products to Russia. In June alone, the technology giant imported thousands of smartphones and computers. In Russia, the warranty continues on Apple products that came into the country under the direct import program; that is, with the permission of the manufacturer. If the faulty device cannot be repaired at an authorized service center (ASC); under the terms of the warranty, it get a replacement with a new one. The company also continues to meet commitments under the AppleCare+ extended support program. We got a confirmation of this information from Bi2X and NB Service; warning that in some cases the replacement may take up to 45 days.

Apple continues to import gadgets to Russia
Warranty obligations under the current legislation continue to take place in any case. If we are talking about equipment imported under the direct import program, then the manufacturer’s warranty applies; and for equipment imported by parallel import, the guarantee is provided by the seller.
At the same time, experts interviewed by the publication agree that the fulfillment of Apple’s warranty obligations may indicate that the company has no plans to completely stop its activities in Russia. Equipment can also be subject of an import as part of the execution of contracts with Western companies that continue to operate in the Russian Federation – these are global agreements, and the company cannot violate them.
