The newly added audio seamless switching technology can automatically switch the audio of different devices according to the audio priority. For example, if the user is watching a video on the tablet, and a phone call comes in, the headset audio will switch to the phone. However, if a notification enters the phone, the headset audio will not toggle.

Google is rolling out audio seamless switching technology for the Pixel Buds Pro headphones. The company will roll out the technology to Sony and JBL headphones in the next few weeks. Users need to log in with the same Apple ID, and AirPods will automatically switch to answering calls on the iPhone when listening to music on the iPad.
