Moto Edge X30 Pro

August is gearing to be a busy month for smartphone enthusiasts just as July has been so far. After several months of rumors and anticipation, Motorola will finally unveil the Moto Edge X30 Pro. This device is the long-rumored 200 MP camera smartphone, and will also be the company’s first with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The world’s first 200 MP camera will go official on August 3 just as the company has speculated. Interestingly, the company confirmed the Moto RAZR 2022 debut for the same date. This come right after rumors pointed to the delay of the foldable smartphone.

Launch date

The event will happen in China as the Moto Edge X30 Pro is a China-exclusive smartphone. However, the device will launch elsewhere as Moto Edge 30 Ultra. For now, we don’t know when, but the company may not take more than one month to bring it to the global audience. For now, it’s not clear whether or not the Moto RAZR 2022 will leave China. Perhaps, the said delay stands for the global audience. Anyway, we can still consider its debut in the global markets.

Gizchina News of the week

The Moto RAZR 2022 joins the Moto Edge X30 at the stage. The new foldable brings significant upgrades over its predecessors. After all, it ditches the mid-range processor for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. However, the rumors say it will disappoint in battery life with a 2,800 mAh battery. Let’s see if Motorola will be able to tweak the processor and software to offer decent usage with this limited capacity. Anyway, the device has a 6.7-inch 120 Hz inner screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 3-inch outer screen. The device has a 50 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultrawide shot, there is also a 32 MP selfie snapper.
