The market for foldable is finally trending with more companies joining the segment. Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the second generation of its Mix Fold lineup with the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. At this point, we don’t know exactly when the phone will come, but apparently, Xiaomi was waiting for the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. As a result, the device won’t be outdated in comparison to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, and the Moto RAZR 2022. Today, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 has passed through the TENAA certification alongside the rumored 200 MP camera smartphone.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 specifications
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 passed by TENAA with model number 22061218C. The device has 12 GB of RAM and either 512 GB or 1 TB of Internal Storage. Under the hood, the phone will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. As per the 3C listing, the phone will pack 67 W fast charging. According to the leakster Digital Chat Station, both the internal and external displays on the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will refresh at 120 Hz. The inner display will have a 10:3:9 aspect ratio whereas the outer panel has a standard 21:9 aspect ratio.

Redmi K50S Pro – Xiaomi’s first 200 MP camera phone
In addition to the Mix Fold 2, we have the 200 MP camera smartphone. Apparently, the device will hit the market as Redmi K50S Pro or Xiaomi 12T Pro. The device has 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage, and 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of Storage configurations. Under the hood, it will bring the very same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. As per Digital Chat Station, the phone brings a 200 MP Camera smartphone. However, at this point, Motorola will be the first to introduce a 200 MP camera smartphone. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra already has a launch date, while the Redmi K50S Pro does not have one. Anyway, the device also passed by 3C with 120 W fast-charging support. The device will draw power from a huge 5,000 mAh battery and the display will have a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Besides the Mix Fold 2 and Redmi K50S Pro, the company may also introduce a vanilla Redmi K50S or Xiaomi 12T. This one will bring the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC.
