Vivo is taking its time but is certainly preparing the Vivo V25 series for release. The biggest proof is the leaks popping out revealing more details about the lineup. Apart from a vanilla Vivo V25, and Vivo V25 Pro, the company is also preparing a Vivo V25e variant. The latter is a cheaper model for the series, but the first details reveal it will be a decent offering. The upcoming smartphone has passed by the Google Play Console Listing and carries the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. It’s a brand new Helio G-series chipset that finally modernizes the manufacturing process.
Vivo V25e specs spotted on Google Play Console
The Google Play Listing includes Vivo Phones with model numbers V2201 and “Vivo V25e”. The handset boasts the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and carries the Mali-G57 GPU. Furthermore, the phone has 8 GB of RAM, and also 4 GB of RAM. According to the details, the Vivo V25e mobile phone boasts a Full HD+ screen with 2,404 x 1,080 pixels of resolution. It’s hard to determine whether this is an AMOLED or an LCD screen. In the same way, we can’t determine the size of the panel right now. The device has a DPI of 440 pixels per inch.
Gizchina News of the week
If the Google Play Console listing can’t say much about the display specs, we can look at its predecessor. The Vivo V23e was launched earlier this year, with a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen. However, this was a 5G smartphone with the Dimensity 810 SoC. We need to wait and see whether the company will launch the Vivo V25e in 4G and 5G variants. After all, it does not make much sense for the company to launch a sequel that downgrades the connectivity part.
In terms of software, the Vivo V25e runs Android 12 with Funtouch OS running on top. The software brings a ton of features and the virtual RAM feature. The device already passed by the EEC website and will soon reach the European market. Other possible specifications include a 5,000 mAh battery with a 33 W fast charging.
