The latest reports show that Malaysia is among the top 10 Asian countries that are not secure to work remotely.

The information comes from a study conducted by UK-based Reboot Digital PR Services. Malaysia is slightly more secure than Cyprus and Indonesia and ranks third. But this country has got an overall cyber danger score of 79.9 out of 100 due to 1,557 compromised computers and 900 malware-hosting sites.

By the way, the aforementioned two countries – Indonesia and Cyprus – are the least cyber-secure country in the world. They have a cyber danger score of 82.8 out of 100.

We understand that all remote workers would consider Indonesia as one of the best places in terms of traveling and working remotely. Bali and Jakarta are among the most famous tourist destinations in the world. But before moving there, you should think twice.

In its turn, Nepal occupies the sixth (73.3) position. But this country has the highest drive-by downloads average of all countries analyzed.

The Philippines (62.7) and Thailand (61.8) rank ninth and tenth, respectively. Their cyber danger scores are around 60 out of 100.

We guess you know which Asian country has the highest cyber-secure score. Yes, that’s South Korea. In Asia, there is no country that competes with South Korea in terms of cyber-security. It has a cyber danger score of just 19.8 out of 100. Japan (21.8) and Lebanon (29.3) are the next countries on the research list.
