Now, the company has confirmed the Vivo V25 Pro smartphone’s launch date in India via another tweet. The Vivo V25 Pro India launch will take place on August 17. Moreover, the tweet confirms that the launch event will start at 12 PM IST. According to a report by 91mobiles, the Vivo V25 Pro could go on sale in India for the first time later this month. Ahead of the launch, the handset has been subject to a lot of leaks.

You can buy the handset via Flipkart and Vivo’s preferred outlet. The V25 Pro appears to be a notable upgrade over its predecessor, the V23 Pro.
Moreover, the device will reportedly come in two RAM variants. The Vivo V25 Pro smartphone’s starting price in India could be under INR 40,000. Past leaks claim that the device will sport with 6.5-inch curved AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution. Further, the device’s display will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. As per the Geekbench listing, the device will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. To recap, the V23 Pro comes with a Dimensity 1200 chip.
Also, the V25 Pro will reportedly ship with up to 12GB RAM and offer up to 256GB of onboard storage. For optics, the phone could get a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64MP primary sensor. Upfront, it will probably use a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calling. A 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support will be powering up the entire system. The phone will get an in-display fingerprint and run Android 12 with FunTouchOS on top.
