The series comprises Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro models. The company even announced the global price of the smartwatches at the event.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series will go on pre-booking in the country from next week. Both smartwatches will be available for purchase across online, as well as offline stores. Notably, the Galaxy Watch5 and the Galaxy Watch5 Pro have made multiple appearances online before their official unveiling. To recap, a series of Galaxy Watch5 series renders surfaced online courtesy of online sources last month. The Galaxy Watch5 will come in two variants. However, its Pro sibling will be available in a single dial size. Noted leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has tipped the Galaxy Watch5 series’ India price. The starting price of the Galaxy Watch5 in India is INR 27,999. Likewise, the Pro variant’s price starts at INR 44,999.

Now, both watches come in LTE and Bluetooth options. Those who pre-book the watches can get the Galaxy Buds2 TWS for a lowered price of just INR 2,999. Notably, the TWS earbuds normally retail for INR 11,999. Further, you can get a cashback of INR 3,000 on the Galaxy Watch5. There’s an INR 5,000 cashback on the Galaxy Watch5 Pro as well. Moreover, you can avail of an exchange bonus of up to INR 5,000 on both smartwatches.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series pre-orders will start in India on August 16, as per a GSM Arena report. The smartwatches are available in 1.4-inch and 1.2-inch sizes. They sport an AMOLED display with a layer of Sapphire Crystal Glass on top. Further, the 44mm version packs a 410mAh battery, while the 40mm version gets a 284mAh battery. The watches take 75 minutes to be fully charged. A past leak suggests the Galaxy Watch5 series will support 10W charging.

The Watch5 Pro sports a 1.4-inch AMOLED display. A robust 590mAh battery with fast charging support powers up the smartwatch. Under the hood, the smartwatches pack an Exynos W920 SoC. Moreover, they run WearOS 3.5 OS with One UI Watch4.5 skin on top. Also, they ship with 1.5GB RAM and offer 16GB of internal storage.
