The PC version of the Xbox Game Pass Twitter page posted an image that left many people intrigued. The post in question attracted users to check the exchange of profile image on the network. The post apparently was an indication that Death Stranding is on its way to the subscription service catalog.
“Sometimes we just like a good landscape image”, says the post on the social network, accompanied by a screenshot. Twitter users didn’t take long to discover that such a landscape can be found in the PlayStation exclusive – which seems to be a strong indication that the game may even make it to PC Game Pass. Why else would Microsoft post an image of a rival exclusive, right? This is a major milestone that will certainly surprise PlayStation fans.
Worth noting, that Death Stranding never was a true PlayStation-exclusive game. The game reached PC shortly after its launch on PlayStation 4. Now, its arrival on Microsoft’s game pass catalog means that the ties between Kojima Studios and Sony aren’t tight as we’ve expected. As the post was made specifically on the Game Pass profile for PC, without any mention of Xbox, it is possible that the game will only be added to the service’s catalog for computers. That way, Hideo Kojima’s game will remain a PlayStation exclusive on consoles.
