Oppo announced the Oppo Watch 3 series smartwatches back on August 10. Now, the products are finally hitting the shelves in the Chinese market. For now, there is no word whether these wearables will reach the global markets or not. Hopefully, the Chinese company will bring them soon. After all, they’re among the first smartwatches to pack the brand new Snapdragon W5 chip for smartwatches. The Oppo Watch 3 comes with a price tag of CNY 1,599 whereas the highest version of the Watch 3 Pro with Leather finish comes at CNY 2,099.
Oppo Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro key features
The Oppo Watch 3 smartwatch is the first to launch the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen1 wearable platform. It packs a 4 nm architecture process, and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores at 1.7 GHz clock speed. It also boasts a 1 GHz Adreno 702 GPU, and Apollo 4 Plus dual-chip. Other features include UDDE dual-engine hybrid technology 2.0, and 1 GB of Memory + 32 GB of Internal Storage. The Oppo Watch 3 packs a 1.75-inch 372 x 430 AMOLED panel, and the Watch 3 Pro packs a larger 1.91-inch screen with 378 x 496 pixels of resolution and an LTPO panel with a minimum 1 Hz refresh rate. It’s perfect for outdoor usage due to the impressive 1,000 nits of peak brightness.

In terms of battery life, the Oppo Watch 3 packs a 400 mAh battery. The device can last up to 4 days in a typical scenario, and a full charge takes 60 minutes. Interestingly, Oppo equips it with VOOC watch flash charging that ensures 24 hours of charging for 10 minutes. The Watch 3 Pro, on the other hand, has a 550 mAh battery. It can provide up to 5 days of battery life with a full charge of 65 minutes. With VOOC Watch Flash you can charge 10 minutes to get a full day of usage.
ECG and a plethora of health-centric features
The Oppo Watch 3 packs an ECG sensor and supports vascular health research function. It can realize a plethora of different 24-hour heart-monitoring routines. The device can also check the levels of oxygen in your body. It has full-scene sleep monitoring, GPS, NFC, eSIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, 5ATM waterproof, and ColorOS Watch 5.0 system. It provides hundreds of sports modes. There is an exclusive customized tennis mode, a newly upgraded running mode, and detailed designs such as a mechanical vibration rotating crown.
