Huawei Mate 50 / Pro / RS Porsche Design released: supports XMAGE, Kunlun glass & Beidou satellite

The major highlights of this new flagship series are the XMAGE support, ultra-reliable Kunlun glass, as well as HarmonyOS 3.0.

Huawei Mate 50 adopts a 6.7-inch OLED straight screen and supports 2700 x 1224 resolution. The screen refresh rate is 90Hz refresh rate and it supports a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Furthermore, this device also supports 1440Hz PWM dimming and a 1.07 billion primary colour display. In addition, it also supports HDR / HDR Vivid, face unlock, and under-screen fingerprint. Huawei Mate 50 Pro

The Pro model of the Mate 50 series comes with a 6.74-inch screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it also supports a 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and a 1.07 billion primary colour display. Just like the standard version, it also supports HDR / HDR Vivid but this model also supports 3D face payment and an in-screen fingerprint. The battery is bigger, 4700 mAh and it weighs 205g.

Huawei Mate50 RS Porsche design & Mate 50E

The Huawei Mate50 RS Porsche design continues the supercar design gene. It retains the iconic rear-camera star diamond design, central axis symmetry aesthetics, a sculptural ceramic body and a supercar flying line design. The new dark blue porcelain colour matching adopts CeraBicolor two-colour ceramic technology. The rouge purple porcelain colour matching is condensed and elegant throughout.

The Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche design comes with a super optical variable imaging system. It is also the industry’s first super macro telephoto camera. Furthermore, it has the first dual-lens group long-stroke sliding axis technology.

The Mate 50E is technically the Mate 50 with a lower processor. This smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 778G 4G chip.

Across the Huawei Mate 50 series, there is the Kunlun glass version. This special glass is “built through a 24-hour, 108-process, 1600-degree smelting process”. The Huawei Mate 50 series is also the first model to debut this technology.
