Gizchina News of the week
Now, reliable leakster Yogesh Brar has divulged the Pixel 7 Pro smartphone’s specifications. Regrettably, the leaked specs show only nominal upgrades over the Pixel 6 series. According to an earlier report, the only notable upgrade on the Pixel 7 Pro will be the introduction of the new Tensor G2 chip. Also, an unboxing video of an alleged Pixel 7 Pro showcased a design similar to the official design renders shared by Google.
Google Pixel 7 Pro Key Specifications (Expected)
According to the recently leaked specs, Google Pixel 7 Pro will get the Tensor G2 SoC. So, we can expect the Pro model to deliver a 10 performance improvement in terms of performance over its predecessor. Furthermore, the smartphone will reportedly sport a 6.7-inch OLED panel with Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For optics, it is likely to feature triple rear-mounted cameras, as per a report by MySmartPrice.
This rear camera setup could include a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens. Upfront, the handset will probably house an 11MP shooter for selfies and video calling. Moreover, Yogesh suggests the Pixel 7 Pro will ship with 12GB of RAM. However, Google is likely to introduce other configurations. The device will offer 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage capacity.
Furthermore, the Pixel 7 Pro will reportedly boot Android 13 OS. It could come with Titan security chips that safeguard sensitive user data. A 5000mAh battery with 30W fast wired charging support will be powering up the entire system. So, it will be interesting to see whether the Pixel 7 Pro helps Google to tighten its grip in an already saturated smartphone market.
