Infinix certainly wants to keep its name in the spotlight. While the company prepares for the launch of an ambitious phone featuring 180W charging and a 200 MP camera, it’s updating its portfolio with new mid-range contenders. The company has just introduced the Infinix Note 12 (2023) and Infinix Zero 20 with compelling specifications.
Infinix Zero 20 and Note 12 (2023) specs and features
As usual, the Infinix Zero series brings the most interesting specs. The Infinix Zero 20 is no exception. It packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It also has a Full HD+ resolution and draws its powers from the MediaTek Helio G99. Remember the story of an Infinix device with a 60 MP selfie camera? It’s the Infinix Zero 20, as the device comes with a 60 MP selfie shooter featuring OIS. It’s the only 2022 Android smartphone to bring such resolution and also bring OIS.
Gizchina News of the week
Moving around to the back, the Infinix Zero 20 packs a 108 MP main camera. There is also a 13 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP sensor. The phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 45 W fast-0charging support.
As we’ve said, the Infinix Zero 20 is the more interesting of the party. But that does not mean the Infinix Note 12 (2023) is a bad device. Apparently, Infinix is joining the trend of re-launching phones with the “year-label”.
Unlike the Infinix Zero 20, the Infinix Note 12 (2023) does not seems to be a new device. It’s a revamped Infinix Note 12 Pro, with a new main camera. The device ditches the 108 MP shooter for a 50 MP snapper. Moreover, 2023 brings a single speaker. The phone also brings an Helio G99 SoC and a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. There is a 2 MP auxiliary camera for depth. This one gets a 16 MP selfie shooter. There is a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging
Both the Infinix Zero 20 and the Note 12 2023 have Android 12 straight out of the box. However, you’ll have to deal with Infinix XOS skin.
Pricing and Availability
Honestly, the Zero 20 may be way beyond what you want to pay for an Helio G99 phone. It’s priced at €460, but for now, it can be acquired at €322. The phone has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Storage. The processor is still a deal-breaker for some. The Infinix Note 12 (2023) costs €218.
