Gizchina News of the week
The upcoming OnePlus smartphone will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC under the hood. To recap, the OnePlus 10R featured a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor. Moreover, the 11R will ship with 8GB and 16GB of RAM. The smartphone will offer 128GB and 256GB of internal storage options, according to the report.
For optics, the 11R will get three rear-mounted cameras. These include a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. Also, there’s a 2MP macro sensor on the back. Upfront, the device houses a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The camera numbers are the same as the number of cameras on the OnePlus 10R.
Furthermore, the 11R will reportedly use a 5000mAh battery to draw its juices. Notably, this cell will support 100W SuperVOOC charging speed. Last year, OnePlus launched the 10R with a 5000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. Also, the company introduced a 4500mAh battery variant that comes with 150W fast charging support.
However, MSP suggests the OnePlus 11R will only get a 5000mAh battery option. So, the only notable change between the 11R and its precursor is the processor. Moreover, the OnePlus 11R launch could take place later this year since the chipset it will pack is already available in the market.
