Nothing Ear Stick renders show an AirPods-like semi in-ear design

Nothing Ear Stick has surfaced online in the form of a few official-looking renders after getting the Indian BIS certification. To recap, the Nothing Ear Stick made its first appearance at the London Fashion Week. Notably, it will be the second audio product from Nothing.

To recap, the former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei unveiled the Nothing Ear (1) last year. The audio device garnered decent popularity among audiophiles. So, there’s a lot of hype around the brand’s next audio product dubbed Nothing Ear Stick. Now, Twitter user Kuba Wojciechowski has shared the Nothing Ear Stick design renders.

If the leaked renders are anything to go by, Nothing will adopt its signature transparent design language for the Nothing Ear Stick. To recap, the Ear (1) and Phone (1) use the same design language. However, the brand will go for a semi in-ear design this time around. For those unaware, Ear (1) uses an in-ear design.

In other words, the Nothing Ear Stick will have ear tips. Furthermore, the Ear Stick case appears to be cylindrical. However, the Nothing Ear (1) uses a squircle design. Also, the leaked Nothing Ear Stick design renders confirm the absence of ear tips on the upcoming earbuds. So, it is safe to assume that the Nothing Ear Stick will feature an AirPods-like semi in-ear design.

The Nothing Ear Stick recently acquired the FCC certification. Notably, the FCC listing reveals each earbud will get a 36mAh battery to draw its juices. Likewise, the case will pack a robust 350mAh battery unit. Also, the Nothing Ear Stick has already passed through the Indian BIS website carrying model number B157.

This is a major sign that the earbuds will arrive in the Indian market, as per a report by MySmartPrice. The Nothing Ear Stick earbuds’ price surfaced online earlier this year via an Amazon listing. The Nothing Ear Stick is likely to carry a price tag of €99. Also, the earbuds will reportedly come with an IP54 rating. Lastly, the Nothing Ear Stick will probably support Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
