Redmi has made its first tablet announcement in India after several speculations and leaks. The Redmi Pad will be made available on the international market.
So, its body is constructed of metal, with an aluminum frame and back. Also, it emphasizes cost-effectiveness and offers appealing specs at a reasonable cost.
In addition, the 10.61-inch IPS LCD screen on the Redmi Pad has a WXUGA+ resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 hertz, a 15:9 aspect ratio, and a maximum brightness of 400 nits.
Also, the tablet is the first in India to use the new 6nm processor MediaTek’s Helio G99 CPU. It has 128GB of internal storage and a choice of 4GB or 6GB of RAM.
The Redmi smartphone has an 8,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, however, a 22.5W charger is available in the package.
Additionally, Redmi offers two significant Android upgrades and three years of security updates. The tablet is running Android 12 OS and the MIUI 13 user interface.

Both the front and the back of cameras include 8-megapixel sensors that facilitate document scanning. Four speakers, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, and room for a microSD card are a few of the standout features.
The Redmi Pad is available in the following colors: Graphite Grey, Moonlight Silver, and Mint Green. Also, it costs Rs. 14,999 ($184) for the 3GB + 64GB model, Rs. 17,999 ($220) for the 4GB + 128GB model, and Rs. 19,999 ($245) for the 6GB + 128GB model. Starting tomorrow, October 5, the Redmi Pad will be available on Flipkart, mi.com, Mi Home shops, and offline retailers in India.
