The Motorola Devon smartphone’s official-looking 5G renders and key specifications have surfaced online ahead of an official unveiling. Motorola has been on a launch spree this year. However, the Lenovo-owned company is prepping to launch more devices before the year comes to an end.
Motorola is sparing no effort to keep details about its upcoming handsets under wraps. Still, these devices have made multiple appearances online in the form of leaks. For instance, the design renders of the Moto G72 were revealed last month. Likewise, press renders of the Moto Razr 2022 popped up on the internet courtesy of noted leaker Evan Blass.
Motorola Devon 5G Renders, Specifications
Now, an industry source has shared Motorola Devon 5G smartphone’s renders and specifications with 91mobiles. Past leaks indicated Devon will be a 4G-ready smartphone. Also, this low-mid-range smartphone was previously rumored to come with the Snapdragon 680 chip. Motorola launched the device as the Moto G32 in the Indian market.

Now, it looks like Motorola is working on a 5G version of Devon. An image of this purported Devon 5G has been leaked. The Motorola Devon 5G seems to bear a striking resemblance to the Moto G32 4G. Notably, it features the same hole-punch cutout in the center as the G32 4G. Moreover, it houses a rectangular camera module on the back as well.
The handset has a 64MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Also, it features two 2MP lenses for depth and macro shots. Upfront, the Devon 5G has a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling. According to a report by BGR, the punch-hole cutout will house the selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone packs a MediaTek 5G chipset. However, details about this chip are still few and far between.
Nevertheless, the Devon 5G could ship with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. Also, it could sport a 6.5-inch display that offers an FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution like the Motorola G32 4G. Regrettably, other key details about the Devon 5G are a mystery. The Motorola Devon 5G smartphone’s launch could be around the corner.
In fact, the company could unveil the 5G-ready smartphone before the end of 2022. Motorola could confirm the device’s marketing name and other details at the launch event. However, the company is likely to launch it as the Moto G32 5G.
