Microsoft announced at the recent Ignite conference that it will launch Microsoft 365 applications later in November. The new application will be the new center for accessing Microsoft’s corporate services and applications. Microsoft claims that the Office.com website, Office mobile applications and the Office Hub program for Windows will all be renamed. The company will also gradually introduce new icons. Furthermore, there will be new appearances and more features for these applications or websites.
However, this news has sparked speculation among users that it seems that Microsoft is about to abandon the classic Office brand. The news was refuted by journalist, Paul Thurrott, who found evidence in a Q&A on Microsoft’s official website. Microsoft says in the Q&A that users will continue to have access to regular features. Users will continue to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as part of Microsoft 365. Microsoft will also continue to offer consumers and businesses a one-time purchase of these apps. It will do this through the Office 2021 and Office LTSC programs. Additionally, there are no changes to Office 365 subscription plans.

Microsoft Office stays
Microsoft 365 applications will be launched next month. They will be very similar to existing Office applications. On Windows, the web and mobile, users can use it to open new documents. They can also use them to access and share files and content. Users can also discover new apps and tools from their Microsoft 365 subscription products. In addition to this, you can see suggestions for work. This can help you focus on your meetings, assignments, and other document activities. Best of all, common quick actions can be performed. In fact, users do not need to switch between different Microsoft 365 apps.
Microsoft is also adding new features to the new Microsoft 365 apps. These apps aren’t available in the Office apps. This includes a new Feed that shows the shared files of the people you’re working with. It will also show trends at work and popular content which will appear in the form of cards. Other new features include a redesigned app module. This module can access any Microsoft 365 or third-party app. It seems that Microsoft intends to use Office to refer to the previous office tools.
