For instance, noted leaker Digital Chat Station claims the Redmi Note 12 will debut the Dimensity 1080 SoC. For those unaware, the chipset is likely to go official in Q4 2022. Last year, tech Youtuber Sahil Karoul predicted that the Note 12 series China launch will take place in Q2 2022.
Redmi could launch three smartphones under the Note 12 series. These include the base Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and the Note 12 Pro Plus 5G. All three handsets could arrive in the global markets.
However, some reports claim the Note 12 series will not see the light of day until next year. Still, Xiaomi is mum on its plan to unveil the Note 12 series smartphones.

Regrettably, the listing does not divulge any key specifications of the upcoming smartphones. However, some vital pieces of information about the Redmi Note 12 series have been revealed not long ago.
Also, it is worth mentioning here that the price listed on JD.com is RMB 9999 for all models. According to a report by 91mobiles, these prices are probably placeholders.
The Redmi Note 12 series has already received approval from China’s 3C certification website. The devices carry 22101316C, 22101316UCP, and 22101316UC model numbers. Moreover, the listing suggests one of the phones will support 210W fast charging.
This could be the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. However, the standard model could come with 67W charging support. The Pro version, on the other hand, might offer 120W charging support.
Also, the Redmi Note 12 could house a 50MP primary sensor on the back. According to Redmi product manager Lu Weibing, the Note series will be a a “small flagship for performance.”
