The flagship-grade SoC offers high performance and efficiency thanks to the Cortex-X2 core and its 4nm manufacturing process. The iQOO Neo 7 flaunts a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. There is also a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 360 Hz touch sampling rate. The panel has HDR 10+ certification and covers the entire DCI-P3 color gamut. The phone’s display is bright with 1,500 nits of peak brightness. Worth noting that iQOO brings back its Independent Pro+ display chip. It comes to bring some relief to the Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The independent chip will handle a high refresh rate, while the Dimensity 9000+ will be free to handle gaming and other tasks.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 7 carries the Dimensity 9000+ SoC. This powerful platform boasts TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process. Moreover, it has 1 x ARM Cortex-X3 reaching a whopping 3.2 GHz clock speed. Thanks to the Mali-G710, the SoC can handle most of the games in Play Store without any hassle. The phone will come with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM depending on the trim. Each option comes with 128 GB or 512 GB respectively.

iQOO Neo 7 – 50 MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization
In terms of optics, there is a triple-camera setup. The iQOO Neo 7 brings a 50 MP Sony IMX766V snapper with Optical Image Stabilization. Moreover, the camera is joined by an 8 MP ultrawide module and a 2 MP macro camera.
When it comes to the software, the iQOO Neo 7 runs Android 13 with OriginOS Ocean. That’s right, iQOO is the first non-Google brand to ship a new phone with Android 13 straight out of the box. You didn’t expect this, right?
The iQOO Neo 7 draws power from a huge 5,000 mAh battery with a whopping 120W fast charging. Yes, we are finally seeing brands combining large batteries with fast charging. Thankfully, the charging adapter is included in the box. The company promises 0 to 50% charge in just 9 minutes. For that reason, we assume a full charge should be under 20 minutes.
iQOO Neo 7 – Pricing and Availability
The iQOO Neo 7 will hit the market in Blue, Black, and Orange colorways. The starting price is CNY 2,699 ($373) for the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB. The high-end version has 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Storage. It costs CNY 3,299 ($456). We would appreciate a variant with 256 GB storage to bring the price slightly down, but unfortunately, it’s not here. The open sales start in China on October 31. For now, there is no word regarding global availability. Hopefully, the phone will hit other markets before the end of 2022. It will give more customers a chance to play with the Dimensity 9000+.
