It looks like Google is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone dubbed Pixel G10 under the recently unveiled Pixel 7 series. Google brought Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones into the Indian market after the Pixel 3 series.
Now, rumors surrounding a high-end Pixel 7 series model have started to surface online. Developer Kuba Wojciechowski has shared details about this mysterious Pixel phone with 91mobiles.
Notably, the Pixel G10 appears to be a modified version of the Pixel 7 Pro. Moreover, Wojciechowski claims the display of the purported Pixel device will offer a 3120 x 1440 pixels resolution.
Also, the dimensions of the display are 155mm in height and 71mm in width. Interestingly, this matches the dimensions of the Pixel 7 Pro’s 6.7-inch display.
The G10 also appears to have the same round corners and edges as seen on the current-gen Pixel 7 Pro. In fact, even the camera cutout placement on the screen is the same as the 7 Pro.
Google Pixel G10 Expected Specifications & Launch Date
To recap, an alleged Pixel 7a model made its appearance on an Amazon listing earlier this month. This is a major sign that the device could be headed to the market soon.
However, Wojciechowski did not confirm if the Pixel G10 is likely to break cover alongside the Pixel 7a in the coming days. Nevertheless, 9to5Google previously spotted two Pixel devices with codenames Felix and Lynx.

The report confirmed Google was working on these devices at the time. Regrettably, details about the Pixel G10 are still few and far between.
So, it is safe to assume the Pixel G10 could be a prototype device. Moreover, it could debut shortly before Google announces the Pixel 8 series.
Also, the Pixel G10 specifications are still a mystery. Nevertheless, the device reportedly uses a display from BOE. For those unaware, BOE collaborates with Apple for iPhone supply chains.
Furthermore, Google has mentioned the new Pixel device will use Qualcomm’s under-display finger sensors. In other words, the Pixel G10 will boast the same specs as the Pixel 7 Pro.
If this speculation proves to be true, the G10 will be as impressive as the 7 Pro. To recap, the 7 Pro recently outperformed the iPhone 14 Pro in DxOMark rankings.
