Realme GT Neo 3 series is one step closer of Android 13

Realme has been launching a new Realme UI version with each major Android release. However, things are different for Android 13. The company will keep the Realme UI 3.0 skin and will update the underlying Android version on its devices. We assume that is a necessary move to reduce the Android fragmentation in its devices. The company has been taking a while to update its eligible phones and launching a new Realme UI every year perhaps making things difficult. A couple of devices have entered the Android 13-based beta program. Today, it’s the Realme GT Neo 3 series.

The Realme GT Neo 3 and the Neo 3 150W are entering the Android 13-based Realme UI 3.0 beta program. The new UI introduces some visual changes and new features. For now, there is no word on the final stable release. But the two cost-effective flagships are now a few steps closer.

Both Realme GT Neo 3 variants now are walking to get Android 13

To recall, the Realme GT Neo 3 has two versions – One has a big 5,000 mAh battery with 80W charging, and the other has a 4,500 mAh battery with 150W charging. Both devices are now part of the beta program. They have the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC under the hood. So, Realme is not having many difficulties to bring these devices to Android 13, despite their MediaTek processor. Another related device, the Realme GT Neo 3T also entered the early access program for the Android 13 update.
