iQOO 11 to bring QHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and more

iQoo 11 Pro specs, launch timeline

iQOO has just launched the iQOO 10 series, but this can’t prevent the leaks for the iQOO 11 series to start emerging. That said, the popular tipster Digital Chat Station is here with some new tidbits about the upcoming phone. Curiously, the tipster deleted the specs for unknown reasons. Anyway, GSMArena managed to grab the specs before. We don’t know what was DSC’s reason for deleting the content. For that reason, digest this with a pinch of salt.

iQOO 11 alleged specifications

According to the leak, the vivo iQOO 11 will pack a Samsung-sourced AMOLED display. Since iQOO loves numbers and its marketing has a strong appeal to specs, we expect this to be a Samsung E6 AMOLED. The panel will have QHD+ resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1440 Hz PWM dimming.

Under the hood, we don’t have many surprises here. The iQOO 11 will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. No surprises here, the iQOO 10 was launched recently, and the iQOO 11 series will certainly bring better specifications. By the time of the new phone release, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will already be out and available in some smartphones. Besides the new chipset, the phone will bring up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The brands are definitely improving their battery-charging relationship. We’re seeing large batteries paired with faster-charging standards and the iQOO 11 is no exception. The phone will bring a huge 5,000 mAh battery with impressive 100W charging. The device will keep dual X-axis linear motors for immersive gaming. In terms of optics, the phone has a 50 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultrawide snapper, and a 13 MP telephoto lens. The camera is not the biggest focus of this smartphone series, but still, it’s good to see the inclusion of a telephoto shooter.

For now, the exact launch timeline for the iQOO 11 series is unclear. We may see the phones appearing in January or even in February 2023. The phones will reach global markets including India.
