According to reports, the company is preparing the higher model in the Oppo A-series. The device may carry the Oppo A98 moniker according to Digital Chat Station. The leakster says the phone will have curved edges and a punch-hole display. Moreover, the panel will bring the highest megapixel count camera and the fastest wired charging solution ever seen on an A-series phone. Honestly, don’t hold your breath, as Oppo A-series current records are the standard nowadays.

Oppo A98 alleged specifications
The new information states that the Oppo A98 flaunts a display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The leaks say the panel has “curves”. But right now, we can’t say if this is an OLED panel. Moreover, it is said to pack up to 2,160 Hz PWM dimming. The handset will also offer a high screen-to-body ratio and will have a 3.3x my chin. Under the hood, the phone is said to pack the Qualcomm chipset with SM7325 model designation. Apparently, this stands for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. That is still an excellent chipset for the premium mid-range segment. Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the RAM and storage options. Anyway, we expect something in the 8GB / 128 GB territory.
The Oppo A98 will pack a 108 MP main camera on the back. As usual, we can also expect other sensors to complete the package, but the info is unclear.
