Who Is Maison Margiela?
Maison Margiela is a fashion design company from France. Specifically the capital city Paris. They are into bags, shoes and dresses for all gender types.
To cut the long story short, Maison Margiela is into luxury wear. Therefore, their products are quite unique and of course, expensive.
Samsung has also made an official statement about this partnership saying.
In the spirit of nonconformity,” it partnered with Maison Margiela. To “reimagine the newest member of the Galaxy family. And every element of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Edition focuses on Margiela’s originality and values.
Looking at the device, you could clearly see the iconic design philosophy right from the exterior to the interior. As well as the whole packaging as well. The Maison Margiela design is all over the Galaxy Flip 4. Even the accessories are all customized with the Maison Margiela designs.
The Maison Margiela edition comes in an all white color with a matte finish. Looking at the finishing of the device, it looks as if the matte finished is weaved into the device. This Clearly announces itself as something really special just by looking at it.
It also exposes Maison Margiela’s décortiqué technique. Which uses the outer layer to reveal the internal layer. With fine translucent lines that reveal the internal circuits.

Availability And Pricing Of The Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela edition will go on sale on December 1st 2022. In France, Hong Kong and South Korea. And as for the pricing, neither Samsung nor Maison Margiela has said anything about it yet.
As it stands now, this edition will only be available in these 3 countries. But we hope to see other parts of Europe also getting their hands on this device.
Other parts of Europe or America getting their hands on this is possible. But it may largely depend on the reception that the device will receive from the masses.
If the demand goes high, then Samsung might broaden their market. If not, then the special edition Flip 4 with remain in these countries.
Talking of reception, it may also depend on how Samsung prices the product. The standard version of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 already comes with a price of $800.
And I stated earlier, Maison Margiela is a true luxury brand. So partnering with Samsung to build a custom edition Z Flip 4 only means one thing. The product will not be for everybody. This is because it will definitely come with a higher price tag.
