Is it Galaxy A54 or Galaxy S23? The two smartphones have the same design

The insider Steve Hemmerstoffer with the alias Onleaks has released crisp photos of the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. It’s a potential mid-range device that will launch next year. It is immediately unclear whether the photographs show the Galaxy S23 or the Galaxy A54.

Renders of the Galaxy S23 were previously published online by the same insider. When we look at the images of two phones sisde by side, it is obvious that they are nearly identical. The front cameras, side edges, and screens all have the same layout. The display bezel on the Galaxy A54 is noticeably wider. However, aside from that, there are not many differences in terms of design.

But there will be a big change in the specs. The 6.4-inch AMOLED screen of the Samsung Galaxy A54 has a Full HD Plus resolution and a 120 Hz frame rate. The 5000 mAh battery, 50-megapixel image sensor integrated with the primary camera, Exynos 7904 SoC, and 6–12 GB of RAM are among the features of the upcoming device. Of course, Android 13 with One UI 5.0 will be the operating system.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 sports slightly thick bezels and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the center of the device. On the right edge are the power and volume rockers. The speaker grille, microphone, and USB Type-C port are located at the bottom. The additional microphone and SIM ejector tray are located at the top. At the back, without any borders, we have three camera sensors and an LED flash. The standard Samsung logo is also present on the back.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 is anticipated to debut in early 2023. It will be the time to receive a Galaxy A53 replacement because the Samsung Galaxy A-series has consistently been one of the company’s best-selling products.

Before new smartphones are unveiled, Steve Hemmerstoffer has a history of producing accurate renderings of them (such as the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Sony Xperia XZ4, and Google Pixel 4 XL). Later, every single one of these leaks—along with numerous others—was verified.
