Vivo X90 specifications revealed ahead of rumored Q1 2023 launch

The Vivo X90 series of smartphones’ specifications have popped up on the internet ahead of an official unveiling. Vivo is likely to launch three premium smartphones under the X90 series next week.

Notably, the X90 lineup comprises the Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. Vivo has confirmed the X90 series will go official in China on November 22.

The company is reportedly planning to launch the X90 series smartphones in a slew of other markets as well. In the meantime, the X90 and Vivo X90 Pro+ were recently spotted online in the form of leaked renders.

The word on the street is that the X90 series smartphones will make their global debut in Q1 of 2023. Amid the lack of an official confirmation, the Vivo X90 series’ full specifications have been revealed.

This X90 series specifications and other details have been shared by tipster Ishan Agarwal (via PriceBaba). The Vivo X90 will succeed the recently launched Vivo X80.

Vivo X90 Series Complete Specifications

The X90 5G is likely to pack a Dimensity 9200 SoC under the hood. Moreover, it will ship with LPDDR5 RAM and offer UFS 4.0 storage. The phone might sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 2800×1260-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

For optics, the device has a triple rear camera setup featuring a Sony IMX866 main camera sensor. Also, it houses a 12MP portrait sensor and a 12MP ultrawide camera. Upfront, the phone has a 32MP selfie camera.

Also, a 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast charging support will power up the X90. It will sport the same display as the vanilla X90 5G. The X90 Pro 5G will feature a 50MP f/1.6 portrait sensor and a 12MP f/2.0 ultrawide sensor.

Moreover, the X90 Pro 5G could use a 32MP front-mounted shooter for capturing selfies. Notably, it will draw the juices from a 4870mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The X90 Pro+ 5G will have four cameras on the back including a Sony IMX989 50MP main camera with a 1-inch sensor. Also, it has a 50MP Sony IMX758 f/.6 portrait sensor and a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultrawide sensor.

The rear panel also houses a 64MP OmniVision OV64B40 telephoto camera. For selfies, it uses a 32MP front camera. The phone sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 2800×1260 resolution.

Also, this screen will deliver a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

Furthermore, the X90 Pro+ 5G will come with a 4,700mAh battery. This cell supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Lastly, the phone runs Android 13 with OriginOS 3 on top.
