Honor just took the wraps off the Honor 80 series, and a new Magic Vs foldable. As expected, the new phones come with Honor MagicOS 7.0 an all-new interface with a bunch of novelties. It comes to replace Magic UI 6.2, and the company brought all the details regarding to the update. It also revealed when existing Honor phones are set to get this update.

The newest Honor MagicOS 7.0 update has a streamlined design. Following tendencies the company bets on fluid animations and flat icons. Moreover, there is an all-new Honor Sans font in the UI. The home screen features larger folders and there are new widgets to improve the experience. The software also brings a new native video editor.

The Honor MagicOS 7.0 also brings a new feature dubbed MagicRing. It features seamless file transfers, a smart clipboard, and call and notification management between MagicOS devices. It also brings integration with Honor laptops and tablets. The foldables will also get a split-screen keyboard, smart widget, and task manager from this. Furthermore, there is also a new feature dubbed Magic Text. It recognizes text in images and allows users to scan and save text to PDF.

Another big novelty in Honor MagicOS 7.0 is the addition of the Honor OS TurboX engine. The company promises faster app launches and better power consumption management. Moreover, we have the MagicGuard system that ensures security and privacy protection.

There is also a list of the phones getting the update, and when exactly they will get it. Worth noting that the initial Honor MagicOS 7.0 deployment is for China. The global details will be given in the future. However, some phones will have to wait until May 2023 for this update.
