iQOO 11 specs revealed ahead of December 2 launch

Vivo didn’t wait much time after the Vivo X90 series release and is coming again with new flagships. This time, the company will introduce new monsters under its iQOO 11 lineup. The new devices will hit China and Malaysia on December 2. While the Vivo X90 Pro+ was the first phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the iQOO 11 will be the first to hit global markets taking Malaysia into the account. We also know that there is an iQOO 11 Pro tagging along. Ahead of the release, iQOO decided to tease the display specifications and some of the phone’s features.

Display specs revealed

When it comes to the display department, the iQOO 11 5G is a big upgrade. The company confirms that the display will be smoother, and is also smarter with a high peak brightness. The iQOO 11 will have a 144 Hz refresh rate which is higher than the biggest majority of flagships. The phone will also bring a Quad HD+ resolution and an impressive 1440 Hz PWM Dimming. Furthermore, it will have 1,800 nits of peak brightness. This is one of the brightest displays in the smartphone industry so far.

The iQOO 11 will use the LTPO technology for a dynamic refresh rate. According to the rumors, the phone uses a Samsung E6 AMOLED just like the Vivo X90 series. It also has a centered punch-hole for the top-front camera.

iQOO 11 and 11 Pro alleged specs

The display size has not been specified by iQOO. However, the leaks say it has a 6.78-inch panel. Other leaked specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Moving around to the back, the phone also has a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.9 aperture, a 13 MP ultrawide shooter, and an 8 MP portrait snapper with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the smartphone has a 16 MP shooter. Also, the icing on the cake is the Vivo V2 ISP which is also present in the iQOO 11 series.

Th iQOO 11 will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The iQOO 11 Pro will have a smaller 4,700 mAh battery but will bring 200W charging. Both smartphones will run Android 13 with OriginOS straight out of the box. However, the global variants will run FuntouchOS 13. Last but not least, we expect a simple black color and a Legend one with BMW M Motorsport stripes.
