OnePlus new phone with Android 13 gets Bluetooth SIG certification

After the arrival of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, many brands are already planning to launch new flagship models with this chip. No doubt, OnePlus will launch a new flagship phone in 2023. This device will be the OnePlus 11 and it will come with this new Snapdragon flagship chip. However, at the moment, there is no official launch date for this mobile phone. Nevertheless, a mysterious OnePlus phone was certified by the Bluetooth SIG on Friday. It is hard to pin down its identity. According to tech blogger, Mukul Sharma, this OnePlus phone with model number CPH2451 may be the OnePlus 11 or Nord series.

The certification details show that it runs the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 system. Based on that, it could be the new OnePlus Nord model. However, it could also be the OnePlus Nord CE 3 or OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. In short, very little is known about the mobile phone at present. We expect to get more information in the coming days. According to popular Weibo tech blogger @DCS, the OnePlus 11 will come with a 6.7-inch LTPO single-hole curved screen. The punch hole will be in the upper left corner of the display. Also, this mobile phone will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor. It also has a 5000 mAh battery that supports up to 100W fast charge.

The blogger also reveals that this OnePlus 11 engineering model uses a metal middle frame. This device also comes with a three-stage mute button as well as an optical screen fingerprint sensor. In the camera department, this mobile phone comes with a triple rear camera setup. It uses a 50MP + 48MP + 32MP lens combo that supports a zoom range of 0.6X – 20X.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen2 uses a 4nm manufacturing process. This chip comes with a Cortex-X3-based Kryo super-large core with a main frequency of 3.2GHz. It also has 4 performance cores (2 x Cortex A715+ 2 x Cortex A710, both at 2.8GHz), and 3 Cortex- A510 energy efficiency cores (small core, frequency 2.0GHz). Compared with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the final CPU performance is increased by 35%. Also, the power consumption is reduced by 40%. This chip also brings a new generation Adreno GPU with 25% performance improvement and 45% power consumption reduction.
