Realme recommends that users back up their personal data before installation. Realme is also asking users to make sure their devices have at least 60% battery life before hitting the Install Now button.Ā It is worth noting that users with ROOT devices are not eligible to apply for the program. The company also says thatĀ users will experience a longer boot time after installing the Android 13 update, and the boot time will depend on the number of third-party apps installed on the device. Also, the system will perform app adaptations, security scans, and background optimizations. Thus, the battery life may suffer for the first few cycles. Realme plans to roll out the Android 13 update for a range of devices launching in 2021 and 2022.
