Apple’s Emergency SOS Feature Saves Yet Another Life

When Apple launched the iPhone 14 series. There were lots of talking points about the features that these latest flagship lineups came with. For example, the Dynamic Island feature was discussed by many for weeks.

This is because it was the first time in years. That any smartphone maker had done something like that with their front camera cutout.

In as much as Apple’s Dynamic Island grabbed a lot of attention. There were other features that couldn’t receive much attention. As much as what the Dynamic Island received.

Meanwhile most of these features are very important safety features. These are the kind of features that we cannot just overlook. Emergency SOS

A notable example to the statement above is the crash detection and Emergency SOS features. These are features that could really save our lives. If we are to implement them well. There is a report that confirms that. Apple’s Emergency SOS helped save a stranded man at Nimiuk Point, Alaska.

According to a recent report by Alaska department of public safety. A stranded snowmobiler was rescued by the Alaska State Troopers on December 1 at 2AM local time. The rescue was made possible. This is because the stranded man activated the Emergency SOS service on his iPhone.
