The upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone’s battery and charging specifications have surfaced online ahead of launch. Realme is reportedly working on a new smartphone dubbed GT Neo 5.
However, the company hasn’t divulged any key specs of the handset. Still, details about the Realme GT Neo 5 battery and charging capabilities have been revealed.
To recap, the GT Neo 4 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 went official earlier this year. Now, a new leak suggests the Realme GT Neo 5 is headed to the markets soon.
Realme will reportedly launch two variants of the GT Neo 5 with different battery capacities. Notably, the phone will ship with a 4,600mAh battery unit that supports 240W fast charging.
Also, the company might launch another variant that packs a 5,000mAh battery. This cell might support 150W fast charging. Moreover, the GT Neo 5 series could get a Sony IMX890 main camera on the back.
This primary camera sensor will reportedly support OIS (optical image stabilization). So, the purported GT Neo 3 successor might get an impressive rear camera setup.

Realme GT Neo 5 Battery & Charging Specs
According to a Weibo post by Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the GT Neo 5 will be available in two variants. These variants will have a different batteries and charging speed specifications.
Moreover, DCS claims the BLP985 alludes to a 5,000mAh battery. This battery unit supports 150W fast charging, according to the leaker. The BLP987, on the other hand, is a 4,600mAh battery that adopts 240W fast charging technology.
DCS also confirms the presence of a Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS. So, it is safe to assume that the Neo 5 series will offer a better photography experience than its predecessor.
The GT Neo 5 lineup will reportedly feature three rear-mounted cameras. Upfront, the handset could either house a 16MP or 32MP selfie camera.
Past leaks suggest the phone will sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, it might pack a MediaTek Dimensity 9 series chip.
The phone might boot the Android 13 OS with Realme UI 4.0 custom UI on top. Meanwhile, the global version of the GT Neo 3T is on the verge of receiving Android 13 OS.
