Chinese tech giant, Huawei, is currently struggling in the mobile phone market. The company has been a shadow of its former self, mank thanks to the ban by the U.S. Despite the ban, the company is still releasing mobile phones. Huawei claims that it is releasing these mobile phones, not to compete with any brand but just for survival. This afternoon, Huawei held a winter full-scenario new product launch conference. The company unveiled two mobile phones at this event including the Huawei Enjoy 50z and the nova 10SE. The Huawei Enjoy 50z comes with a 1,199 ($172) starting price.
Huawei Enjoy 50z specifications
The Huawei Enjoy 50z uses a 6.52-inch 1600 × 720 LCD water drop screen. This display supports a 60Hz refresh rate and also has a decent display ratio. In addition, this device is available in three colour options including sapphire blue, mint green, and midnight black. The body of this mobile phone is 8.94 mm thick and it weighs 188 grams. This entry-level mobile phone comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and it uses a USB 2.0 interface as well as a side fingerprint recognition.

In the camera department, the Huawei Enjoy 50z comes with a front-facing 5MP selfie camera. On the rear, this device comes with a triple camera setup. It uses a 50MP primary camera + 2MP macro + 2MP depth-of-field triple camera. Under the hood, to keep the lights of this device on, there is a 5000 mAh battery in this device. This device also supports 22.5W fast, maybe not so fast charging. While there is no specific mention of the chip on this mobile phone, the device uses an octa-core processor. On the software end, this device pre-installs Huawei’s own HarmonyOS.

- 6GB +256GB – 1399 yuan
The pre-sale of this mobile phone will start at 16:08 today (Chinese time) and the first outright sales will start on December 26.
