The IQOO 11 and 11 Pro are the very latest of smartphones from the Vivo sub-brand IQOO. Vivo launched the IQOO 11 series on the 8th of December 2022 in China. Launching in China simply means that it was first going to be available on the Chinese market.
In a press release by Vivo, the company announced that the IQOO 11 series will begin rolling out to the international market this week. The first market outside China to receive the devices will be Thailand. They also announced that the Indian market was going to receive the IQOO 11 series in early 2023.
Vivo has posted a tweet on Twitter to confirm an official date for the launch of IQOO 11 series on the Indian market. The set date is January 10, 2023.
IQOO calls the IQOO 11 Pro the fastest smartphone in the world. But does it live up to this nickname? Well, I guess the specs can explain that better. So, let’s just flip through the specifications of the so-called fasted phone in the world.
What Makes The IQOO 11 Pro The World’s Fastest Smartphone
First of all, the IQOO 11 pro is the reigning king on Antutu Benchmark. The device comes with the latest chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4nm). The 512GB storage version also comes with 16GB of RAM with Adreno 740 GPU.
Gizchina News of the week
It has a 6.78-inch LTPO4 AMOLED display which supports up to 144Hz refresh rate. The display is also made up of 1 billion colors, HDR10+ support and a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The ultra-bright display can also peak up to 1800 nits in brightness with pixel density of 518ppi.
It has a triple rear camera setup with 50MP main camera sensor, 13MP Telephoto lens and another 50MP ultrawide sensor. The IQOO 11 Pro is also amongst the very few smartphones in the world to support 8K videos at 30fps. The little downside in terms of the video recording has to do with the front camera. The 16MP punch-hole front facing camera lacks support for 4K video recording. It is limited to 1080p at 30 fps.
This device also comes with 4,700mAh battery capacity. And guess what? This battery can charge from 0 to 100% in just 10minutes, thanks to the 200W superfast charger. It also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
