To join in the celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year in January 22. Apple has released a special edition of the Airpods Pro second generation. This limited-edition Airpods Pro comes with a Year of the Rabbit engraving on the box and the charging case as well.
Throughout Apple’s online stores and retail stores in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. You could also see the year of the Rabbit engraving all over. This is because the year 2023 will be the year of the Rabbit on the Chinese calendar.
The Price of The Airpods Pro Remains the Same 
Even though the main box and the wireless charging case have the engraving on them. The main headsets and the price of the device remain unchanged. Apple has also made a Chinese New Year gift guide available to customers. The Cupertino company is offering up to ¥1,000 off select products. These products include the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPad, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, second and third generation Airpods. This offer will last between 30th December to January 2. Apple has also stocked-up OtterBox’s limited-edition Chinese New Year cases. These cases are for all iPhone 14 models.

Apple retail stores in China, Macau, Singapore and Taiwan will offer free Today at Apple sessions. This will be between January 6 and February 7. At this session, customers can use the iPhone to create a New Year portrait. They can then share the portraits with friends, family and their social media platforms.
Previously, Apple offered the limited edition first generation Airpods Pro to mark the Year of the Ox in 2021. The iPhone maker also released the same product to mark the Year of the Tiger in 2022. 
Each Customer is Limited to Two Airpods Pro
Apple has said that this year’s limited edition Airpods Pro is available at limited stock. However, each customer is limited to two products only. This means as a buyer, you cannot purchase more than two of the limited edition Airpods Pro.
Apple launched the second generation Airpods Pro in September this year. It features a longer battery life and better active noise cancelation than the previous edition.
