Apple is well known for updating its products on a more frequent basis than most companies. The Cupertino company is always at work to bring new features to its products. This happens almost every year just like any other company.
However, a lot of people who use most of Apple products may be a bit disappointed this year. This is because not every Apple product is going to receive an update this year. 
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has revealed a list of Apple products that will not receive any major updates in 2023. According to Mark Gurman’s “latest power of newsletter”, Apple does not have plans of bringing major updates to these Apple products. They include Apple Watch, Apple Airpods, Apple TV and iPads.
Apple Will Launch the Mixed Reality Headset this Year
As we reported earlier, Apple is bent on launching its first AR / VR Headset this spring. As a new product, the company wants to make sure it will stand amongst the best if not the very best. For this reason, the company may have to shift its focus from other products.

This shift in focus will also go the long way of affecting other Apple products. Apple does not want to delay the launch of any product at this point, which is why it is focusing on minor updates or no updates at all for certain products this year.
No Major Updates for Certain Apple Products 
Gurman says that Apple do not have any plans of releasing any major update for the iPad this year. The nearest update period for the iPad may happen within the first quarter of 2024. These updates will be for the 11-inch and the 13-inch iPad Pros with OLED displays. He also emphasized that Apple would bring minor spec changes in the iPad mini and the iPad Air.
With the Apple Airpods, Gurman also said that we are not to expect any update this year. This could even go the long way to affect the release of the second generation Airpods Max which was initially tipped to launch this year. Apple may however release new colors for the Airpods Max this year.
The Apple Watch may also experience similar update issue as Apple will not bring any major changes to the smartwatch. The new addition which is the Apple watch ultra may come with minor touches as Gurman has said. As for the Apple TV, there will not be any update at all for this year.
