Foldable devices have been around for quite a while now. Since 2019 till date, many brands and manufacturers have delved into the Foldable business. Most of these products are in the form of smartphones or a tablet size foldable device.
Apple is Yet to Get into the Foldable Business 
Apple being one of the top manufacturers in the world seems to be one of the few companies yet to come out with its foldable device. There have been uncountable rumors of Apple’s own foldable devices. Many renders are also online trying to give us a gist of how the foldable iPhone will look like.
With all these rumors and renders, it looks like the media is doing so to try and convince Apple to produce a folding device. The Cupertino company on the other hand seems to have a whole different plan for the foldable market.
Apple May Launch a Foldable Notebook in 2025
Apple is working on a foldable notebook with a 20.5-inch screen. The device should be available for purchase by 2025. This information was shared by display expert Ross Young.
Ross Young shared information in a tweet that contradicts a recent rumor about Apple’s plans to release a foldable iPad in 2024. Young said he has seen no evidence of Apple developing such a device for release next year. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg was also in support of this view.

The rumor about Apple developing a foldable MacBook with an all-screen display has been around for a while. Ross Young mentioned it previously in February 2022. Stating that Apple was talking to its suppliers about creating foldable notebooks with 20-inch displays. 
According to today’s report, Apple is still working on a foldable laptop. When folded, it will have a full-sized screen keyboard. But when unfolded, it can be used with an external keyboard. Apple CEO, Cook has stated that this will be a completely new product category for the company.
Have heard about a 20.5” foldable notebook for 2025, but nothing about a foldable iPad for 2024. Maybe this is just good PR for the hinge company…

The new design for this laptop would have two screens. This will be different from other foldable Mac laptops. Such laptops have only one screen along with a keyboard and trackpad. It is unclear if this rumored 20-inch foldable will be called an iPad, Mac, or something else. However, many sources believe that 2024 is just too soon for a foldable device of this nature.
