The Motorola G Stylus lineup has been around for a while. The device is not comparable to the Samsung Galaxy Note or Ultra in terms of features. It just has an integrated stylus and a few note apps. Even so, it seems to sell well, and Motorola has been able to keep the lineup alive and kicking. Now, the brand prepares for a new generation dubbed Moto G Stylus 2023. Yeah, yearly editions are the most uninspired way to name smartphones, but we can’t change that. The device has appeared in a new leaked render that confirms some of its details.
Moto G Stylus 2023 details leak
The Moto G Stylus 2023 emerged in a new render thanks to OnLeaks. The device has a very mid-range-esque design, so Motorola is not taking major departures from the category. The device has a punch-hole display, and the back has the classic Moto G design. We have a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP main camera leading the way. Considering that this is likely a budget phone, we expect the secondary camera to be just a depth sensor.
Gizchina News of the week
Of course, the series’ signature feature is back, there is a built-in stylus. The Moto G Stylus 2023 also brings a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Considering the render, this device leaked last year as “Motorola Geneva”. To those unaware, Motorola loves to give fancy location-based codenames for unreleased phones. As per the leak, the phone will pack up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of Storage. Since it’s a mid-range phone, we also expect it to bring Black Beauty and Crystal Grey colorways. Last but not least, it should come in 4G and 5G variants. So there will be different processors for each one.
We don’t know exactly when Motorola will launch the Moto G Stylus 2023. The company launched many Moto G series phones last month, and more will come soon. We expect more news in the upcoming weeks. With the advent of MWC 2023, the company may come up with some releases. The Moto G Stylus 2023 should get a quieter release, after all, the spotlight will be on the upcoming Motorola Edge 40 series.
